Nose Surgery (Rhinoplasty)

Rhinoplasty is still one of the most performed aesthetic surgical procedures. Over the past 20 years, the trend has shifted from ablative techniques involving reducing or dividing the osseo-cartilaginous framework to conserving native anatomy with cartilage-sparing suture techniques and augmentation of deficient areas correct contour deformities and restore structural support. The foundation for a successful experience for both patient and surgeon involves accurate preoperative analysis and clinical diagnosis, identification of both the patient’s expectations and the surgeon’s goals, and a thorough review of the plan of care and expected postoperative recovery. Rhinoplasty remains one of the most challenging procedures in cosmetic surgery. I can achieve excellent surgical outcomes only through a thorough understanding of the multiple nasal anatomical variants and a comprehensive knowledge of the ultimate long-term effects of various surgical techniques on the overall appearance and function of the nose. I should practice a philosophy of balance, preservation, and restoration of tissues (rather than a purely deductive approach, which can introduce tissue spaces and uncontrolled scarring of tissues).

Eyelid Lift Surgery (Blepharoplasty)

Blepharoplasty surgery is shown when the eyelids require recontouring. Specifically, blepharoplasty is most useful when excess skin needs to be removed, the muscles are enlarged or require tightening, or eye fat needs to be removed or redistributed. Upper eyelid lift surgery typically involves an incision made in the natural crease above the eye. Your cosmetic surgeon will remove a precise amount of excess skin and fat and adjust the surrounding muscles to make the desired improvements. Cosmetic surgeons can use a variety of surgical techniques to improve the lower eyelids; incisions are located on the outer edge of the lower eyelid, just beneath the eyelashes, or inside the eyelid. Depending on the case, I may remove excess, sagging skin or tighten the lower eyelid muscle to supply the most natural, effective results.

Ear Correction Surgery (otoplasty)

The social implications of ear deformities for the developing child are well documented. Protruding ears are a frequent source of ridicule by peers and may contribute to various developmental abnormalities, including social phobias and outright behavioral disturbances. Correction of even minor deformities can have profound benefits to appearance and self-esteem. The ear development is virtually completed by the age of five, when I can undertake adequate measures. Correction ear surgery, also known as otoplasty, can improve the ear's shape, position, or proportion. Otoplasty creates a more natural form while bringing balance and dimension to the ears and face.

Female Hair Loss Treatment

At MSI, every treatment option begins with a complimentary video-microscopic hair density test and digital documentation to calculate and monitor results. MSI offers two drug molecules (i.e., 5% minoxidil solution and finasteride) to stop hair loss and regrow hair. Minoxidil, finasteride, vitamins, and trace elements are injected during a mesotherapy treatment session. Growth Factors for hair regrowth are added to our cocktail when mixed with Platelet-rich plasma (PRP). Several-time weekly application of a laser-emitting device (LED) to "stimulate" hair growth of existing miniaturized hairs is one of the new light therapies for hair loss. The most recent available hair preservation and restoration treatment is the newly introduced combination of mesotherapy, infrared technology, oxygen therapy, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), and nano fat or micro fat (stem cell therapy). Penetration of PRP and nano fat or micro fat is eased with microneedling, dermal roller, or the use of fractional radiofrequency. Hair transplantation is at the forefront in developing these applications. Recently an increase in female patients requesting lowering the frontal hairline or lower the height of the forehead is in demand. Besides, I can successfully treat a variety of conditions with hair transplantation. Scarring of the scalp and hair loss due to traction can be repaired with hair transplantation. Finally, hair transplantation can successfully restore hair to the eyebrows, eyelashes, or pubis.

Skin Scars Treatment or Revision

The improvement of scars of either cosmetic or functional impairment is the goal of scars revision. Cutaneous scars are results of earlier surgery trauma, or inflammatory processes, e.g., acne. The injury may be cosmetically distressing or may distort functional anatomy. Thus, the aim of scar revision is the achievement of an aesthetically pleasing or less visible scar. Scars can be categorized by various descriptive characteristics, including contour, shape, length, width, color, and function. Recognition and analysis of these unique characteristics, along with the scars’ location and place, will aid in determining the proper technique or combination of procedures in revising a given scar. Numerous revision procedures are available to correct the various types of injuries. No one treatment or procedure is effective in correcting all types of scars. Therefore, knowledge, understanding, and experience in using various techniques are vital to do acceptable results.

Male Hair Loss Treatment

At MSI, every treatment option begins with a complimentary video-microscopic hair density test and digital documentation so that results can be calculated and monitored. MSI offers physician formulated hair tonics. Hair tonics contain two drug molecules (i.e., 5% minoxidil solution and finasteride) to stop hair loss and help hair regrowth. The minoxidil, finasteride, vitamins, and trace elements are microinjected during mesotherapy. Penetration of PRP and nano fat or micro fat is eased with microneedling, dermal roller, or the use of fractional radiofrequency. Hair restoration has become increasingly popular with both men and women in recent years. New technologies such as follicular unit extraction and grafting have allowed patients to get a natural-looking result with minimal downtime. In addition to hair loss treatment, I can successfully treat various conditions with hair transplantation. I can repair scalp scarring, facial scars due to trauma or surgery, and hair loss due to traction with hair transplantation. Finally, hair transplantation can be successfully used to restore hair to the eyebrows, eyelashes, beard, mustache, or goatee area; and even in areas of the body, such as the pubis or chest.

Acne Rosacea Treatment

Rosacea (rose-AY-sha) is a common skin disease. It often begins with a tendency to blush or flush more quickly than other people. The redness can slowly spread beyond the nose and cheeks to the forehead and chin. Even the ears, chest, and back can be red. A treatment plan for rosacea includes avoiding triggers, using gentle skincare products, and treating the rosacea. Many skin care products can irritate skin with rosacea. Some skincare habits, such as scrubbing your skin clean, can cause rosacea to flare. Using mild skincare products and being gentle with your skin can help prevent flare-ups. If you have trouble finding soft skincare products, ask your dermatologist for recommendations-best results achieved with patient education. While medicine or laser treatment can help reduce or clear signs of rosacea, your everyday habits may cause a new flare-up.

Thigh Lift Surgery

A Thigh Lift, or Thighplasty, reshapes the inner or outer thighs contour by removing excess fat and skin to form a well-proportioned, natural appearance. Depending on each circumstance, an inner, vertical, or outward thigh lift approach will dictate the number and place of incisions required. Thigh lifts are not meant to remove extra fat. Liposuction alone can remove excess fat deposits where the skin has good elasticity and can naturally conform to new body contours. In examples where skin elasticity is reduced, a thigh lift and liposuction may be commended.

Body Odor Treatment

The condition can be known medically as bromhidrosis, osmidrosis, fetid sweat, body smell, or malodorous sweating. Humans have two types of sweat glands: eccrine sweat glands and apocrine sweat glands. Eccrine sweat glands are present from birth, while the apocrine glands become activated during puberty.  The body odor primarily results from the apocrine sweat glands, which secrete most chemical compounds needed for the skin flora to metabolize it into odorant substances. Body odor is most likely to occur in the following places: feet, groin, armpits, genitalia, pubic hair and other hair, belly button, anus, behind the ears, and the rest of the skin, to a lesser extent. Body odor is usually accompanied by excessive sweating and managed in the same manner. Botox is injected intradermally to treat hyperhidrosis and inhibits the release of acetylcholine at the neuromuscular junction and from the sympathetic nerves that innervate eccrine sweat glands. A new bipolar radiofrequency device can destroy the eccrine glands by thermolysis at the deep dermis and subcutis interface. When medical treatment fails, ultrasound and power-assisted liposuction of armpits can gently remove both eccrine and apocrine sweat glands.

Dermatologists Only Skincare Products

There is a demand for compounded pharmaceuticals in dermatology because they can offer medications for patients that are not commercially available. Cosmeceuticals can be cleansers, toners, moisturizers, serums, and masques that hold active ingredients such as retinoids, alpha-hydroxy acids, polyhydroxy acids, skin lightening, antiacne, growth factors, peptides, and vitamins. Medically based skincare products target three cellular components that contribute to aged skin: keratinocytes, melanocytes, and fibroblasts. Instituting the correct routine will slow the progression of aging and work toward reversing the extrinsic and intrinsic aging changes. In aesthetic practice, using cosmeceuticals in combination with cosmetic procedures is a new treatment ideal for skin rejuvenation. Pre-treatment with cosmeceuticals can prime the skin for procedures, and post-treatment can reduce complications. Patients with rosacea, eczema, seborrhea, and acne require specially selected products that will enhance skin appearance without irritating their underlying conditions.
